Our client is a UK based company who has just received US$2M to expand their US customer base. Existing customers of their data analytics solution include; Bank of America, TD (Toronto Dominion), ScotiaBank, RBC (Royal Bank of Canada), Lloyds, Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda and Morrisons. Their key cusomter base is the banking sector with some major retail clients too.

Responsibilities:

  • Initially drive new business as an individual contributor for the first 6 months, targetting already identified 170 key banking institutions in the United States.
  • Work with the UK Managing Director to develop consistent and effective sales strategies to continue to grow market share.
  • Build a small 2-4 person team in the US, and function as their sales leader in a player/coach capacity.

Qualifications:

  • MUST – have recent experience selling a software/technology solution into the Banking sector in the United States.
  • MUST – be comfortable being a ‘hunting’ individual contributor to start and then progress into a sales leadership position.
  • Strong sales process and high sales acumen needed.
  • Self-motivated and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships and navigate a complex sales process.
  • Ideally located in a banking hub area. The initial ideal cities for your location would be Columbus, Boston or Chicago.
