The LCSW provides consistent care and high quality assessment and therapy services to clients, primarily in nursing facility settings. The LCSW coordinates treatment with other professionals in the nursing facilities, the resident’s families and referring physicians; maintains accountability for the consistency of services in an organized and professional manner; and seeks out new referrals while maintaining the highest standards of quality work, in a timely manner. An LCSW is responsible for providing the highest quality of care within the scope and ethical guidelines of his/her license as established by the appropriate Licensure Board.
