The Chief of Quality Management will participate in executive strategic planning, decision-making, policy determination and implementation, ongoing review and tactical planning for the budget, resource allocations, operational plans, and meeting the RVAHCS mission, vision, and goals. The incumbent is accountable for the oversight of the quality management program and collaborates with other executives to ensure that policies and practices promote optimum patient care outcomes, safety, satisfaction, and efficiency and provides leadership in the quality and effectiveness of clinical programs under his/her jurisdiction.
