This results in an unfavorable administrative cost position and an overly complex operating model that, if not addressed, will create potential compliance risk and impede growth. Given the importance of Medicare Advantage growth to our enterprise success, we are embarking on a multi-year commitment – called Project Cornerstone – to move that business from multiple platforms to a single modern claims administration technology, and align processes that will ultimately improve competitiveness with the market, drive long-term affordability, and enable us to scale reliably to support growth.
