Job title: Social Worker (Substance Use Disorder) Company: Job description : The SUD Social Worker is responsible for the continuum of social work services within the Beckley VA Medical Center as part of an Outpatient Addictions Interdiciplnary team. The Substance use Disorder (SUD) Clinic Therapist Social Worker duties may include but are not limited to the following: Incorporate complex multiple causation in differential diagnosis and treatment of Veteran patients, including making psychosocial and psychiatric diagnoses within approved clinical privileges; Employs a high level of skill and expertise and has, or is willing to obtain, specialized training in Evidenced Based Practices (EBP) to further successful outcomes based upon the individual needs of Veterans within the program; Works with Veterans and their families who are experiencing a wide range of complicated medical, psychiatric, emotional, behavioral, and psychosocial problems; Develop therapeutic interventions to deal...
