DESCRIPTION OF WORK The employee in this position is part of the Protective Services Unit which provides specialized casework services to at risk clients 60 years of age or older under the Older Adults Protective Services Act. This employee is responsible for the assessment of consumers in a variety of settings, including hospitals and nursing homes, to determine their appropriate level of care and the least restrictive setting for this care to be given. There are state guidelines regulating response times for assessments to be initiated.
