Job title: Intern – Community Education Company: Minnesota Valley Education District Job description : Mankato Area Public Schools, Community Education and Recreation has a position as a Community Education and Recreation Intern available beginning January and ending at the conclusion of the Spring academic term. This assignment is for a total of 560 hours. Job Summary: Responsibilities Include: Assisting with site program development, delivery, and administration. Review with supervisor program budget and purchasing activities. Under the direction of supervisor, provide supervision of site staff, maintain a safe environment for youth, and communicate with parents/guardians as directed by program supervisors. Specific areas of learning will depend on the season. Programmatic areas may include Rec on the Go! , Middle School After School, Transition Camp, Saturday Morning Youth Sports, outdoor movie events, Open Gym, ACES, and end of season organization & clean up.
