Job description: Tonkin Collision Center is busier than ever and we are in need of an Auto Polisher to help out. We are one of the only well-accredited, certified collision centers in Oregon! Working as an Auto Polisher, your job would revolve around the setup and finishing process of painting. This position is important because it keeps the Painters working as efficiently as possible and it also gives you first-hand experience. The ideal candidate is going to be someone with prior automotive polishing experience and who likes to work fast.

Auto Polisher Job Duties

  • Inspect parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations.
  • Disassemble and reassemble machines or equipment or remove and reattach vehicle parts or trim, using hand tools.
  • Clean and polish vehicle windows.
  • Fit boot spoilers, side skirts, or mud flaps to vehicles.
  • Assist with other duties as they arise.

Qualifications

Auto Polisher Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • 1 year of paint polishing.
  • The ability to stand and lift throughout your shift.

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen, THC not screened for.
