Forensic Construction Engineer/Architect Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert forensic analysis provide analysis and consultation on various construction claims including surety, property, and construction-defect failures.
  • Work from a remote office setting while traveling to project sites (up to 50%).
  • Perform and supervise field inspections of residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects for contract conformity code compliance and/or assessment of cause and origin damages.
  • Ability to manage direct reports and perform office management functions.

Forensic Construction Engineer/Architect Qualifications:

  • 5+ years forensic experience
  • Hands-on engineering experience (structural/mechanical/electrical investigations, etc.)
  • Able to safely climb roofs, crawl in tight spaces, etc.
  • Applicant must be a registered Professional Engineer in CA (Multiple state P.E. Licensure preferred) or a licensed Architect in California
