What You Will Be Doing

– Execute construction documents from schematic phase through construction administration, including permitting and entitlements.
– Provide direction to Design Development and team members.
– Coordinate consultant drawings with architectural and factory drawings.
– Communicate with clients and consultants as needed.
– Participate in the formation of end-to-end digital production process.

What You Need for this Position

– Licensed California Architect with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
– Having a startup mindset
– Passionate about innovation in the 3D construction space
– Residential architectural experience as a Licensed Architect
– Proficiency in Rhino, Revit, and Blue Beam, specifically in construction document and technical drawing management
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, and Photoshop preferred
– Working knowledge of sustainable and prefab construction
– Working knowledge of CA residential building and zoning codes
– An eye for detail and a desire to perform at a high level
– A self-starter who takes initiative and responsibility for their work and actions
– Knowledge of factory-built structures and transport
– Experience with construction cost estimating and construction management
