Government Finance Funding Associate

Reports to: Vice President, Government Finance

For over 50 years KS StateBank has been the bank of choice for many in the Manhattan community. We are currently hiring for a Government Finance Funding Associate to join our lending team as we grow and build on our success.

Our Government Finance department offers a vital service to cities, counties, schools, fire districts and other municipal entities by helping them secure the financing necessary to grow and serve their community. The Government Finance Funding Associate position provides an opportunity to learn what happens behind-the-scenes at a financial institution while also providing a path for personal and career growth and development. Employees enjoy a comfortable work environment with a relaxed dress code. We anticipate a starting salary of at least $35,000 per year along with benefits that include a 401(k) with employer match.

We’re looking for someone who will learn the procedures and best practices for this position and then use facts, data and research to complete their tasks. You will have both individual duties and team responsibilities; we’re working to support each other to accomplish the desired result—helping the client obtain a loan. Curiosity and the drive to learn in order to completely understand the connections are desirable traits. Individuals who are flexible, can quickly shift between the multiple demands, and who look for win-win solutions find success in this position.
