COMPENSATION

Base rate between $17.50 to $24.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications. Shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift is provided. $500 signing bonus! $50 paid on your first check and $450 paid after 30 days on continuous employment.

THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, the Lead Operator is responsible for leading the operation of line equipment for the production of baked goods. The Lead Operator has an eye for quality and adheres to SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards.

  • Manages production workflows and appropriate staffing levels.
  • Manages the operation of single line equipment from set-up to shut down and sanitation; ensures efficiency and maximizes run capacity and speed.
  • Frequently moves, pushes, lifts, packs, stacks, and handles product, baking materials, and equipment.
  • Troubleshoots minor mechanical issues with line equipment and partners with maintenance to resolve issues effectively.
  • Observes the flow of the production line and identifies where help is needed, stepping into any position to provide support or relief for breaks.
  • Assists the Production Supervisor with the training of new team members; continually coaches and ensures the performance of assigned teammates.

SHIFT TIMES
2nd Shift – 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

3rd Shift – 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM . Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS
What does it take to succeed in this role? We’re looking for a motivated individual with excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn. You should also have:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk up to 100% of the time, work in a freezer or ovens area, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work efficiently, exercise initiative, resourcefulness, and good judgement.
  • Flexible and comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • The role typically works 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays may be required depending on business needs.
  • Previous food production experience preferred, but not required.
