We are growing! We are looking to fill three HR positions. The right candidate can choose to work out of the following EmPower HR office locations:� Milwaukee, WI;�Schaumburg, IL or Columbus, OH.

• HR Generalist (individual contributor)
• Associate HR Business Partner
• HR Business Partner (leadership experience)

HR Generalist:
Provide stellar service to clients and internal staff by being responsive, timely, and accurate in all communications

• Oversee select model clients and provide support in foundational HR tasks
• Act as the liaison between employees and internal business partners to answer employee questions to ensure a positive employee experience
• Support HR Business Partners on strategic client initiatives and tasks
• In coordination with the Leave of Absence team, facilitate leave of absence claims management
• Create new policies and make edits to client handbooks
• Coordinate benefits open enrollment process including preparation of materials, assist in conducting company meetings, answering employee questions, and collection of all elections and successful communication of elections internally
• Follow up with HR team, clients, and employees on any open items in order to solve issues and provide excellent service
• Understand client practices and business objectives and execute on such deliverables in a timely and organized manner. Be familiar with the clients various policies and practices in order to provide guidance and answer employee questions accurately
• Serve as an active member on the internal compliance team
• With assistance of the HR Business Partners, provide guidance on employee relations and workplace issues
• Manage file audits at client sites
• Partner with members of the HR team in accomplishing team projects and process improvements
• Perform hands-on project work for clients which may involve new client implementation, research, drafting and developing materials and other deliverables
• Local travel required to client site

Associate HR Business Partner:
The right person is a high-performing HR professionals who form trusted partnerships with a variety of smaller, less complex clients in order to provide them with excellent service both in person and virtually. This role is a trusted partner to clients and provides guidance and expertise for the full scope of Human Resource functions and disciplines with the assistance of the HR Consulting Lead. This may include legal compliance, strategic planning, talent acquisition and performance management, training and development, leadership coaching, employee and labor relations, recognition and rewards, compensation and benefits, and risk management. This position also supports HR Business Partners with project work when needed. This role is designed to progress into a full HR Business Partner role.
