Job description: THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Provide casework services to individuals and members of their families to help them in achieving a more satisfactory adjustment to their specific problems or situations. This includes maintaining close contact with individuals, families, and service providers in order to evaluate and document treatment being provided and progress in meeting identified goals of treatment. Link individual/s with appropriate community resources and advocate for resource services delivery. Also work collaboratively with social agencies, hospitals, clinics, Courts and other community resources.

Work Hours: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (M-F) with a 30 minute lunch

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Qualifications:

You must have successfully examined and have a current score on file. If you have not already done so, you must first apply to the posting and follow the directions provided. is currently waived for this title. * Hiring preference for this vacancy will be given to candidates who live within Northumberland County. If no eligible candidates who live within Northumberland County apply for this position, candidates who reside in Columbia, Snyder, Montour or Union counties will be considered.

This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
