PETROL, a leading full-service advertising agency specializing in progressive marketing for some of the biggest brands in tech, sports, and video gaming—among many more—is seeking a Freelance Game Capture Artist. With dedicated departments for print services, motion graphics, AV, social media, interactive/digital, as well as media planning & buying, we regularly develop fully integrated global marketing campaigns for some major brands across genres. The designer will collaborate with inspiring directors, efficient producers, and a highly talented group of artists. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a world-renowned CREATIVE TEAM!

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Work within active development environments in Call of Duty Warzone and Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War
  • Creating captivating Social and Marketing content
  • Work with a team of capture artists to create engaging and cinematic content
  • Working with Debug Builds Provided by Clients
  • Identifying Key Functions to Games
  • Quality Assurance for games to discover Bugs that we would like to avoid
  • Capturing Impactful shots to infuse into Key Art
  • Communicating and reporting with internal teams and studios

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Hiring preference provided for capture experience within Call of Duty console and PC
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Game Capture and QA
  • Excellent Understanding of Cinematography
  • Comfortable working in a Debug Environment
  • Organized and Structured workflow
  • Great Communication skills
  • Strong Time Management
  • Editorial Software including Premiere
  • Coding and Scripting is a plus
