Job description: Special Education Teacher 2021-2022

AnthroMed Education is a leading organization in the Special Education field partnering with talented Special Education Teachers within the communities we serve. Our organization is seeking a dedicated Elementary Special Education Teacher who wants to make an impact for the 2021-2022 School Year.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience, salaried-based role including PTO, Benefits, Simple IRA Match, materials stipend, and more!

Elementary Special Education Teacher Details:

  • Support students in a co-teaching and/or pull-out model
  • On average 24-29 students in the classroom
  • Special Education Teacher will work onsite supporting students within the classrooms. May also support students who are learning virtually from onsite at the school

Special Education Teacher Qualifications:

  • Degree (Master’s preferred) in Special Education
  • Valid Illinois PEL required with LBS1 Endorsement
  • Previous experience in an elementary school setting is a plus.
  • Ability to connect with people from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
