Requirements

1. Education and Training

  • College courses with sufficient related experience.
  • Bachelor Degree in Social Work and/or MSW preferred.

Experience

  • Previous experience in social work required, preferably in a hospital environment

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications

  • Licensed Social Worker.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of hospital and non-hospital personnel.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Prolonged standing/walking.
  • Frequently must deal with stressful situations.
  • Handles emergency or crisis situations.
  • May be subject to irregular hours
