Criteria for Teacher Selection:

Teachers will be selected by the administration for summer school teaching assignments utilizing all the following criteria:

Appropriate licensure for the position (Subject, ESL, Special Education, Bilingual, etc.)

Experience in specific subject to be taught in summer school and/or specific student populations.

Strategies for Success
The teacher will provide students with the skills and strategies needed to navigate high school and be successful in their classes for the upcoming school year. They will focus on executive functioning skills, academic skills development based on their specific deficits in their IEP and either opportunities to become familiar with the building or provide opportunities to prepare for life after high school.
