Hours: 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day

Pay Rate: $30 – $34 per hour

Note:* The Freelance resource on this assignment will utilize their own equipment and should have installed: Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription, Figma or other UX design software, After Effects*

Job Purpose:

Company’s internal creative team needs help! We’re looking for a remote Graphic Designer/Digital Production artist that can join our stable of trusted freelancers helping us with overflow projects, on an as needed basis.

The perfect person for this role:

You’re an experienced designer/production artist who can take an input brief and quickly turn around a finished proof using Adobe Creative Suite or Figma. You don’t need a lot of hand holding but are good working in a collaborative environment. As for the actual work: we’re not looking for somebody to bring big creative ideas, rather somebody that can follow the vision of existing work and help us move our projects from in-progress to complete. Working closely with Project Management and other Creatives, you could be versioning letters in InDesign, then the next day resizing banners in Figma, before moving back to INDD to update text and images in a brochure.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute innovative concepts and designs in an integrated, omni channel environment focusing on digital assets (including static and animated banners, rich media and social assets and emails.) as well as print collateral.

Apply brand identity systems, typography, photography, color and other ingredients appropriately to create innovative visual solutions that meet business and user needs.

Manage multiple assignments simultaneously within established timeframes and maintain an awareness of status and project deliverables.

Creative Qualifications:

Portfolio of creative work, showing art direction, graphic design and creative skills across multiple channels (offline and online.)

Expert knowledge in the use of design concepts (layout, typography, color, white space, and grid); Understanding of print concepts (bleed, resolution, and color)

Proven ability to deliver great creative while adhering to brand guidelines

Minimum 3 years of experience in an adverting agency or marketing/design firm

Advanced knowledge in the following programs/tools: Adobe Creative Suite, (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and Figma. (Working knowledge of After Effects is a plus.)

General Qualifications:

Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage/execute multiple ongoing projects

Strong consultative, analytical and problem-solving skills

Proven record of working and thriving in a fast-paced changing environment with examples of the ability to change direction based on contingencies or environmental changes while staying true to the creative brief/strategy

Strong project-management skills and the ability to take ownership of assigned projects from beginning to end

Ability to be flexible and accommodating under pressure

Strong proof-reading skills and attention to detail
