Description:
Job Description: Responsible for general laboratory and operational support. Including providing logistical support for samples and compounds management, ordering supplies and carrying out general bench work activities.

Person will be part of Manufacturing Sciences and Technology team working on developing and characterizing processes for marketed biotherapeutics. Experience with small-scale bioprocess lab operations and aseptic cell culture techniques is required. Familiarity in protein purification processes is a plus. Good organizational skills, willingness to learn and perform tasks with integrity is required.

HM notes:
-1-2 years of upstream process experience
-Lab based position
– Bioreactor experiments, glass bioreactors
– running 10 bioreactors a day, multiple times a week
– Bacterial fermentation
– co-op experience is acceptable for fresh grads
– No PhD or MD
– looking for someone eager to jump in, go getter, team player, hard working
– 1st shift, with possible Saturday shift
