Manage one or more programs in the Center for Applied Pediatric Quality Analytics (CAPQA), including global health quality initiatives. Identify new activities and related funding opportunities. Manage the development of new programs with internal or external partners. Monitor the performance of programs, recommending changes to CAPQA leadership as required to meet objectives. Hire and train staff as needed. Assist and advise CAPQA leadership on project priorities and new initiatives.

This Program Administration Manager will be responsible for:

• Managing the implementation of program goals and objectives
• Preparing budget proposals and recommendations and establishing budget control system for controlling expenditures; controlling expenditures in accordance with budget allocations; recommending equipment and resources for program
• Managing project scope and timeline through formal change management processes
• Managing project issues and risks through standard issue/risk process
• Managing, selecting, training, and evaluating staff for effectiveness and efficiency
• Performing need assessments, evaluating and analyzing individual program and overall effectiveness; implementing appropriate procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy to fulfill the unit/dept and BCH mission
• Managing the development of internal systems and materials for delivery of programs and services
• Providing technical advice, policy interpretation, and guidance for application of appropriate procedures to staff, students and administrators
• Developing and facilitating the development and facilitation of workshops, seminars and orientations
• Developing information flyers, internal forms and various materials to facilitate unit or department programs and services
• Interacting and maintaining liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives

To qualify, you must have:

• A Bachelor’s degree and a min of 4 years’ experience. (Assoc Degree with min of 6 yrs of exp). Master’s degree preferred
• The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations
