Job description: Job Opening Summary The Guest Service Specialist (GSS) under the direction of the Patient Experience Department, functions as a liaison between patients, families, visitors, and staff to facilitate the highest level of patient satisfaction. The GSS creates a positive impression through high quality engagement, assistance, proactive rounding, and customer service recovery. Orients and supports patients/families regarding hospital environment, amenities, and resources. This position is responsible for providing guests with patient and UF Health information, wayfinding, securing transportation, and knowledge of local lodging and amenities. The GSS supports the lost and found process, provides valet vouchers, and ensures a safe and clean environment.
