SUMMARY

The Dynamics AX Application Developer will be responsible for production support, projects, and regular maintenance activities following the Dentsply Sirona Dynamics AX2009 methodology and documentation standards for driving projects and support globally for AX development cycles. This role will be working with the release code promote lead on all global government localizations and hotfixes which will not be supplied by Microsoft support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Experience in working with MorphX, Enterprise Portal, AIF, Workflow.
• Application development efforts involve full or partial software lifecycle both during and following the MBS Axapta implementation.
• ASP.NET
• Experience in working with Version Control system integration. (VSS, TFS etc)
• Upgrade from Axapta old versions system to Dynamics AX 2009.
• Work closely with functional implementation teams and other members of the development team.
• Participate in the implementation of designs devised by other team members.
• Write programs to fulfil functional gaps in the application.
• Prepare and perform unit and integration testing.
• Assist with acceptance testing.
• Create and maintain functional requirements documentations (if required)
• Create and maintain technical specification documentation.
• Ability to deliver tactical goals and accurate project estimates, for an application project.
• Conduct testing and apply quality control procedures.
• Follow development best practices and write XML documentation.
• SQL and Database skills
• Write customized reports for all modules as required using X++ and/or SQL reporting services
• Interact with AX business leads on problem solving and function designs
• Anticipate, Monitor, Diagnose, Analyze & Recommendation to resolve system performance
• Develop understanding of the Dynamics AX Infrastructure, Citrix, and relevant 3rd party products, including but not limited to: RFSmart, Bartender, Atlas, etc.
• Ensures and maintains SOX and FDA compliance procedures for change control

TYPICAL CANDIDATE BACKGROUND

• Bachelor’s Degree, in a related area (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology)
• MS Dynamics certification (Preferred)
• 5+ years’ experience in .Net experience
• 5+ years’ experience in Object oriented development for implementing MS business solutions Axapta with X++ as development language
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Excellent communication skills, especially with key business users, the AX support team members, and Corporate IT
