Position: Oracle DBA Lead
Location: Dallas, TX (Remote till Covid)
Type: Contract to Hire

Job Description:

  • 7+ years Oracle and/or SQL Server Database Administration
  • Experience in Oracle 12C/11g administration
  • 2+ years of experience in development using Python/Go/java/ etc., on Unix/Windows OS’s
  • Experience in database backup using Hot/Cold and Logical Backup
  • Performing and monitoring database backup using RMAN
  • Database cloning and refresh using RMAN recovery
  • Expertise in patching and upgrade
  • Excellent troubleshooting skill with ability to support and troubleshoot elevated queries independently
  • Assess and identify appropriate changes and make recommendations for implementation
  • Support incident, change, problem and request management processes as per SLA
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills
