Job description: Expanding and highly respected South Bay civil litigation firm with specializations in warranty defense litigation, business litigation, and personal injury is offering an Associate Attorney position in its warranty defense team. The applicant MUST BE LICENSED IN CALIFORNIA IN GOOD STANDING WITH AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IN LITIGATION DEFENSE. The right person will be a fast learner, a self-starter, have excellent writing skills, be able to handle their own case load, and be interested in litigation. Our firm prides itself on a collaborative team environment where we care about the work that we do and always deliver for our clients. Our clients include major automotive manufactures, small/local businesses, and individuals.

Any of the following are a plus for a candidate:

Knowledge of or familiarity with the CLRA, the Song-Beverly Act, the UCL, or other consumer laws.
Knowledge of or familiarity with California Rules of Civil Procedure.
Experience with pleading challenges, depositions, written discovery, and motions.
